Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification required (RMA, CMA, CCMA, NCMA).
• BLS certification required.
• Strong computer and EMR skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam by taking vital signs and documenting chief complaint.
• Assist clinicians with exams and minor in-office procedures.
• Coordinate and manage patient care including referrals and scheduling.
• Provide clerical support and accurate documentation for billing.
• Maintain clean and organized clinical environment and sterilization procedures.
