Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care facilities in Topeka, KS. The role is part-time with 1099 status, offering flexible scheduling and competitive pay plus benefits. Providers document in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad and work with dedicated staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Seeking candidates with a DPM, active licensure or eligibility, and experience in long-term care. BLS is required and ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree is required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings is preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings.

Responsabilités

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
