Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a DPM to provide podiatric care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. The role offers full-time or part-time options with a company-issued iPad for EMR documentation and support staff to handle scheduling and billing.

Active state licensure is required (or eligibility), with BLS mandatory and ACLS preferred. Expect collaborative, autonomous practice focused on patient mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
