Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities in Fort Dodge, IA. This part-time (1099) role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay with benefits.

Clinicians will document encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad, collaborate with facility staff, and participate in Medicare quality programs to drive top-tier patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
