Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in Savannah, GA. The candidate should demonstrate compassion and a collaborative approach as the company expands its podiatric services.

Our DPM will assess and treat lower extremity conditions, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to ongoing education and quality patient care within a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with appropriate certification and licensure is required.
• DPM license – active license preferred or ability to obtain within applicable timeframe.
• CPR certification expected, and consistent with state requirements for Podiatric Medicine.
• Possession of DEA registration or eligibility required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure effective interactions with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with lower extremity complaints, review medical history, perform exams, order imaging or labs, and develop a clinical care plan.
• Provide foot and ankle care including comprehensive exams and wound management as needed.
• Educate patients and families about foot care, wellness, and prevention.
• Maintain patient records per state regulations and company standards.
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Prescribe medication as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Other related duties as deemed necessary.
