Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a well-trained Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide foot and ankle care in Waycross, GA. The candidate must demonstrate compassion for patient needs, have great attention to detail and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold DPM degree and license to practice.
• Active DPM license or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Must have DEA registration or be eligible.
• CPR certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care in a clinic setting with hospital staff membership.
• Assess lower extremity complaints, review medical history, perform exams, order imaging/labs, and develop a plan of care.
• Deliver comprehensive foot/ankle care including at-risk foot care, trauma, wound care, and surgical management when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families about foot care, wellness, medications, adherence and prevention.
• Maintain patient medical records per state regulations and Upperline Health standards.
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Prescribe medications as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Other related duties as deemed necessary.
