Job summary

Jasper Engine Exchange, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Machining Associate for the Gas Division to perform milling, boring, and honing machine setup for blocks and heads.

You will operate honing bars and calibration rods, use cutters and precision measuring equipment to meet exact specs. The role requires physical stamina (lift up to 50 lbs, long shifts) and the ability to work with various manual machines in a climate-controlled shop.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approx. 10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools such as hammers, drills, impacts, gauges.
• Standing: Continuously.
• Walking: Occasionally/Frequently.
• Sitting: Never.
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally/Frequently.
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Description: Gas - POD 430, 440, 450, 460, 470 Machining

In the GAS Division, POD Machining will perform responsibilities including but not limited to milling, boring, and aligning the honing machine for blocks. The Associate will use tools such as a honing bar and a calibration rod. Associates will utilize milling and seat cutting machines for heads. The associate will be using tools such as cutters and various measuring devices They will use precision measuring equipment to accurately machine parts to match the specs required for specific jobs.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:15am – 4:45pm Overtime available on Fridays and occasional Saturdays
