Job summary

Lutheran Health Network seeks a Point of Care Test (POCT) Coordinator to oversee and coordinate POCT across the facility. You will ensure regulatory compliance, quality control, training, and competency assessments for non-laboratory staff performing POCT.

You will collaborate with departments to keep testing accurate, reliable, and timely, while adhering to clinical laboratory standards and policies. Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology required.
• 1–3 years of experience performing or coordinating POCT.
• 1–2 years of experience with laboratory quality control programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates POCT implementation and maintenance per hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develops and maintains quality control and quality assurance programs for POCT.
