Pocatello High School is seeking a Building Technician to perform custodial, maintenance, cleaning and grounds keeping tasks across school facilities to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment.
The role requires a building maintenance certification and a high school diploma or GED. Additional duties may include other maintenance tasks in District facilities, supervised by the Custodial Foreman.

DAYS: 251 days per year - 8 hours per day
SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $15.35 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: The principle function of the Building Technician is to perform routine custodial, maintenance, cleaning and grounds keeping tasks in
school buildings and grounds to maintain a clean sanitary, and safe environment. Additionally, an employee in this class may be
assigned to other maintenance duties in District facilities. The position is supervised by the Custodial Foreman. The principle duties are
performed in a public school building environment and include use of electrically powered cleaning equipment and cleaning substances
that may involve related hazards and outdoor work in inclement weather conditions. Must meet certification criteria, which includes
working knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and grounds.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Building maintenance certification is required. High school diploma or GED equivalency.
