Job summary

Pocatello High School is seeking a Building Technician to perform custodial, maintenance, cleaning and grounds keeping tasks across school facilities to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment.

The role requires a building maintenance certification and a high school diploma or GED. Additional duties may include other maintenance tasks in District facilities, supervised by the Custodial Foreman.

Qualifications

• Building maintenance certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must meet certification criteria including working knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial, maintenance, cleaning and grounds keeping tasks.
• Work in school buildings and grounds to maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment.
• May be assigned to other maintenance duties in District facilities.
• Supervised by the Custodial Foreman.
