Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Point of Care Laboratory Team Lead to oversee POC testing at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee campus in Mequon, WI. You will train nursing and clinical staff, coordinate competency assessments, and partner with leadership to improve testing workflows.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a chemical/biological science or CLIA-regulated field.
• Minimum 2+ years as a Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician.
• ASCP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee non-waived and waived POC testing across hospital campus and clinics.
• Provide training and ongoing support to nursing and clinical staff.
• Develop, document training and competency assessments for POC testing staff.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement new platforms and workflow improvements.
• Serve as SME for POC testing policies and best practices.
• Manage POC instrumentation, validation, maintenance, troubleshooting.
