Job summary

Vizient, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented professional to confirm purchase orders transmitted from providers to suppliers, including those not sent via EDI.

You will deliver accurate and timely confirmations for non-EDI orders while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of relevant experience, solid communication skills, and proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts between the Transaction Management Application (TAM) and Outlook to confirm purchase orders.
• Collect purchase order acknowledgment information from suppliers on unacknowledged orders within SLAs.
• Contact suppliers by phone to place/confirm orders at specific call times (40–50% of day).
• Build and maintain quality relationships with providers and suppliers to ensure satisfaction.
• Collect and present statistical data using SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint per TPMM guidelines.
• Use TAM and Excel to run daily and monthly status reports.
