Job summary

Canvas Inc. seeks a Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Lead Systems Engineer to support NAVWAR activities at Arnold AFB, TN. The role includes developing and coordinating the TSPI reference system, mentoring staff, and establishing standardized PNT Test & Evaluation processes.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years in PNT and T&E, strong communication, and willingness to obtain/maintain an active DoD Secret clearance; travel up to 10% and US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline; master’s degree desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PNT systems and T&E projects; DoD environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; customer interaction and presentation abilities required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts and coordinate T&E activities for a TSPI reference system.
• Mentor staff with deep knowledge of PNT.
• Establish standardized testing processes for advanced DoD and commercial PNT systems.
• Direct high-visibility LRKC projects and help expand PNT test capabilities over the next decade.

Education
