Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and verification of assured PNT systems on-site in Auburn, AL or Huntsville, AL.

You will contribute to resilient navigation solutions for GPS-degraded environments and work across the full systems engineering lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering foundation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and interest in navigation, sensors, embedded systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 2–10 years of engineering experience in systems engineering, system integration, test engineering, or related field.
• Experience with requirements development, technical documentation, system testing, or verification activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams and communicate progress clearly.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, decompose, and manage system requirements with traceability and interface definitions.
• Support system architecture development, analyses, and trade studies to evaluate design options.
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify and validate requirements.
• Analyze test data, troubleshoot deficiencies, and document corrective actions.
• Support hardware and software integration of PNT sensors and subsystems onto platforms.
• Participate in lab testing, hardware-in-the-loop testing, field trials, and demonstrations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including specifications and verification reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges throughout the lifecycle.
