Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer (PMPC Software Test) to join our Air Proprietary Mission Systems team in Berkeley, MO. You will establish software test plans and guide PMP test activities across multiple suppliers while handling safety and mission-critical testing strategies.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, 7+ years in programming with Go/Java/C/C++/Rust/Python, and 3+ years leading software teams along with SDLC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 7+ years of experience programming with Go, Java, C/C++, Rust, or Python.
• 5+ years of hardware/software integration, emulation, and/or testing, preferably in a lab environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading software teams and/or projects.
• 3+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Code, Integration, Test).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the PMP software test plan and vision with senior engineers.
• Own PMP software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments; execute tests and document results.
• Determine testing strategy including models, emulation, simulation, dev kits, and hardware.
• Ensure software teams document and execute appropriate software level testing.
• Coordinate across Mission Systems and related test organizations; train and mentor others.
