Job summary

Knowmadics is seeking an Intern Project Manager in Wichita, KS to support PMO activities across three lines of business. The role involves coordinating schedules, budgets, and sponsor communications while assisting senior PMs on complex programs.

You will maintain project records, dashboards, and governance artifacts, with hands-on coordination and rollout of PMO processes. Some travel and evening work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting projects, programs, or PMO operations.
• Working knowledge of Jira or similar work-management platforms; ability to learn Jira Service Management configuration.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support integrated project planning across milestones, product releases, internal commitments, and strategic initiatives spanning all three lines of business.
• Assist project managers on complex programs while independently managing assigned projects and initiatives.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones, work plans, action logs, and deliverable records.
• Track scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies; elevate concerns as needed.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, decisions, and follow-up actions to maintain accountability.
• Take ownership of projects and workstreams, ensuring clear responsibilities and commitments.
• Coordinate across departments for planning, communications, status tracking, and execution.
