Job summary

Gemma Power Systems in Austin, TX is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join our PMO and gain hands-on experience in planning, monitoring, and controlling large-scale projects in the power and industrial construction sector.

You will help create project schedules, track labor and quantities, generate reports and visuals, and support change management. This internship offers exposure to analytics, dashboards, and real-world project controls within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in engineering, analytics, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis aptitude.
• Interest in power generation or industrial construction.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating project schedule and labor tracking metrics.
• Support weekly updates and management reporting.
• Create payroll data visualizations and data tracking visuals.
• Assist with scope control and change management.
