Job summary

Amprius Technologies is seeking a PMO Lead to provide Operations and leadership with a single view of all cross-functional workstreams, including cell transfers to contract manufacturers, CM qualifications, certifications and facility projects. You will build the PMO from scratch and lead the rollout of our PLM system and engineering change control.

The role requires 8+ years in hardware program management, PMO leadership, hands-on PLM implementation, and strong scheduling and risk management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations or related field.
8+ years in program or project management for hardware products, incl. PMO leadership.
Hands-on PLM implementation or running PLM system and engineering change control.
Strong scheduling and risk management using MS Project or Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

Write the PMO charter and program charters, and get them approved by leadership.
Build and maintain an integrated master schedule covering all active Operations workstreams.
Run the governance cadence: weekly status reviews and monthly executive reviews.
Set up and run a single RAID log for all workstreams.
Choose and set up the PM tooling, templates and reporting dashboards.
Lead the PLM program: consultant and system selection, implementation plan, budget and kickoff.
Migrate production BOMs into PLM.
Design and roll out the change control process across R&D, Operations, CMs and suppliers.
Make sure every BOM part is linked to the approved vendor list.
Drive milestone delivery, elevate risks early and help teams resolve cross-functional dependencies.
Coach program managers and functional leads on planning discipline.
