Job summary

ByVerTek seeks a PMO Department Manager to lead the PMO and ensure successful fiber optic construction project delivery. You will guide PMO processes, governance, reporting, and high-quality execution in collaboration with Operations, Construction, and Engineering.

Reporting to the SVP of Operations, you will partner with teams to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction PM experience, preferably telecom or fiber optic infrastructure.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing PMs, coordinators, or PMO personnel.
• Demonstrated experience directing multiple concurrent construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide PMO leadership, coaching, performance management, and development for the PMO team.
• Establish and standardize PMO processes, governance, reporting, and best practices.
• Oversee project delivery to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Partner with SVP Operations to align project execution with company objectives.
• Manage client relationships while ensuring contractual compliance and business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, resource utilization, and financial reporting; take corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee project controls: scheduling, forecasting, risk management, and change management.
• Review and approve project work plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
