Qualifications

  • Firmware/software programming experience with Python, C, C++.
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving abilities.
  • Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, waveform generators).
  • Self-starter with autonomy and good written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Board development using PCB tools to create schematics and PCBs.

YOUR ROLE

ST is excited to welcome a PMIC and Power Combo Bench Validation Intern at our ST office located in Santa Clara, CA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Board development using PCB tools to create schematics and PCBs
  • Software development to communicate to hardware (microcontroller and power devices)
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
  • Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid electronics background in:
    • \- Analog, digital and power electronics (up to a few kW)
    • \- Regulators (linear, switching, synchronous, negative, charge pump)
    • \- DAC and ADC
  • Firmware/software programming experience (Python, C, C++)
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
  • Experience with typical lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, waveform generators)
  • Reliable self-starter who can work autonomously
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Focused on delivering measurable results
  • Sense of urgency and can efficiently manage priorities

At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base hourly rate range for this role is between $32 and $43 USD.
