Job summary

Oasis Mental Health Centers Medical LLC in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team and pilot a new medication management program. This patient-centered practice emphasizes collaborative care and evidence-based treatment.

The PMHNP will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe psychotropic medications, and maintain EMR documentation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed in New Jersey as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Advanced Practice Nurse with psychiatric certification.
• DEA license with prescriptive authority.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric medication management strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary mental health team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for patients requiring medication management.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications per guidelines and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and contribute to program development.
