Job summary
OASIS MENTAL HEALTH CENTERS MEDICAL LLC in Illinois is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced psychiatric care across Chicagoland clinics. The role includes administering Spravato and coordinating TMS therapies for treatment-resistant mood disorders.
The ideal candidate holds an IL PMHNP license, PMHNP-BC certification, and at least 3 years of psychiatric care experience. REMS certification is required or pursued upon hire.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Psychiatry specialization.
- Active IL Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license.
- PMHNP-BC board certification.
- Minimum 3 years in psychiatric care; esketamine/ketamine experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and determine suitability for Spravato and/or TMS.
- Develop individualized care plans and monitor treatment progress.
- Oversee Spravato administrations and REMS program adherence.
- Monitor patients for adverse effects and provide follow-up care.
- Educate patients and families on Spravato therapy and alternatives.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other providers.
- Provide crisis intervention during emergencies.
- Advocate for patient needs with a compassionate approach.
