Job summary

Oasis Mental Health Centers Medical LLC is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work full-time in Chicagoland clinics. You will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, plan treatments, and administer Spravato (esketamine) under REMS guidelines, with collaboration from psychiatrists and therapists.

The ideal candidate has a PMHNP-BC, an IL license, and at least 3 years of psychiatric care experience; ketamine/esketamine experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Psychiatry specialization.
Active and unrestricted PMHNP-BC license in IL.
REMS certification to administer Spravato treatments.
Minimum 3 years of psychiatric care experience.
Experience with esketamine/ketamine therapies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and determine suitability for Spravato and/or TMS.
Develop individualized care plans with the treatment team and monitor progress.
Oversee and administer Spravato treatments in REMS-compliant settings.
Monitor patients during sessions and manage adverse effects; provide follow-up care.
Educate patients and families on risks, benefits, and expectations of Spravato therapy and other options.
Maintain accurate medical records compliant with clinic policies and regulations.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and healthcare staff for coordinated care.
Provide crisis interventions during emergencies or adverse reactions.
Advocate for patient needs with empathy and confidentiality.
