Relief Mental Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning in coordination with supervising psychiatrists. The clinician will manage medications, conduct Spravato and IV ketamine assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.

Qualificações

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a PMH specialization.
• Current state NP licensure and PMHNP-BC certification.
• Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health settings required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and clinical skills with empathy for patients and families.
• HIPAA knowledge and confidentiality practices.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments with medical history and mental status exams.
• Assist in diagnosis of mental health conditions (depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc.).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with supervising psychiatrists.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications and manage side effects.
• Assess and educate on Spravato treatment and ketamine therapy with monitoring.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists/TMS providers for follow-ups and patient evaluations.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling using evidence-based techniques.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, options, and self-management.
• Maintain thorough documentation within 48 hours of appointments.
• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention.
• Stay updated with advancements and required certifications.
