Job summary

Quinnipiac University’s School of Nursing seeks a dynamic PMHNP clinician-educator for a full-time, 12-month clinical track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to serve as Program Director for the PMHNP program.

The appointee should be doctorally prepared with practice, teaching, and leadership in PMHNP graduate education; the role blends online instruction with periodic in-person immersions on the North Haven campus.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered APRN license in CT required.
• National PMHNP board certification required.
• Recent PMHNP practice experience.
• Experience with competency-based education and curriculum development.
• Evidence of effective teaching.
• Leadership experience in advanced practice nursing education preferred.
• Service to profession or community encouraged.
• Commitment to excellence in academic community.

Responsibilities

• Teach and oversee PMHNP MSN program in online setting with clinical experiences.
• Ensure program compliance with accreditation standards.
• Develop, maintain, and evaluate quality clinical experiences for students.
• Advise and mentor students to support academic and professional growth.
• Participate in student recruitment, admissions review, and enrollment management to support program growth.
