Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO invites applications for the Specialty Director of the PMHNP Programs and Instructional Series faculty appointment. Rank will be Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor, with primary teaching and leadership responsibilities in the PMHNP program.

The role includes didactic and clinical teaching, program development, and supervision of clinical placements.

Qualifications

• PMHNP certification (active) and experience in psychiatric nursing.
• Two years' PMHNP practice experience preferred.
• Strong teaching, leadership, and scholarship track record.
• Eligibility for Colorado RN license and APRN registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMHNP program as Specialty Director across didactic and clinical teaching.
• Oversee curriculum development, accreditation standards, and program assessment.
• Coordinate clinical placements and preceptors for graduate students.
• Advise PMHNP students and manage progression and outcomes.
• Engage in leadership activities within the college and university.
