Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join its clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team. The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage psychotropic medications while collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.

Qualifications

MSN in Psychiatric/Mental Health with PMHNP certification required
Active DEA license required
Experience with psychotropic medication management essential
2+ years in psychiatry is required, FNPs with 3–5 years psych experience considered

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
Collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff)
Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders
Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases
