CHE Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team in Oakland, CA. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (7 AM–7 PM) with no nights or weekends and compensation from $100,000 to $180,000 per year.

Qualifications

• MSN – Psychiatric/Mental Health required.
• ANCC PMHNP certification required.
• Active DEA license required.
• 2+ years of experience in psychotropic medication management.
• Family Nurse Practitioners with 3–5 years of psych experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff).
• Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders.
• Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases.
