Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C to provide psychiatric care in post-acute settings in St. Joseph, Missouri. This full-time role offers clinical autonomy, supportive administration, and no night or weekend shifts, with a mix of onsite patient care and remote documentation.

You will evaluate and treat neurocognitive disorders, manage medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF. MO license and DEA preferred; prior older-adult care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted MO license as PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• DEA license or willingness to obtain.
• 1 year of PMHNP or Psych PA experience.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Coverage area includes St. Joseph, Missouri, and surrounding areas.
