Job summary

TeamHealth in Missouri is seeking a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C for a full-time role serving older adults, with onsite patient care and remote documentation. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3.5–5 days, with no nights or weekends.

The position includes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, prescribing and managing psychotropic meds, and providing assessments across post-acute care settings in St. Joseph and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Active, MO license as PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C (or eligible)
• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of PMHNP or Psych PA-C experience
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
