Job summary

Cloverdale Foods Co is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Mandan, ND to lead, coordinate, and optimize the refrigerated warehouse operations. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and tech-savvy skills to drive efficiency, safety, and scalability in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage staffing and workloads, report progress to the Warehouse Manager, and ensure accurate inventory and timely dispatches.

Qualifications

• A high school degree or GED is required.
• Strong leadership and management experience, including hiring, performance management, and team development.
• Adheres to GMP, and has commitment to safety standards and compliance.
• Industrial equipment operation experience with demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and adaptability to change.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• High level of integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including picking, putaway, rotation, wrapping, space management, and shipping, assigning workloads and daily tasks.
• Schedule and oversee the warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Ensure coverage of tasks as necessary, stepping in to support or reassign duties to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Regularly report progress to the Warehouse Manager, highlighting achievements and addressing any issues promptly to ensure continuous operational improvement.
• Monitors inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy. Train the inventory controller if necessary.
• Ensure inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained; inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure products are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities.
• Implement health and safety procedures and training to ensure a safe workplace.
