Job summary

The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Part-Time PM Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nursing Department and lead the PM team. This role involves supervising care, administering medications, and ensuring quality resident outcomes during 2:30 PM–11:00 PM shifts.

Ideal candidates are experienced, compassionate, and capable of making sound clinical decisions while guiding CNAs and LVNs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active, and unrestricted California RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations applicable to skilled nursing/long‑term care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect resident information.
• Ability to meet applicable physical and job‑related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team and coordinate resident care during the PM shift.
• Provide guidance and direction to nursing staff.
• Make sound independent clinical decisions and respond to changing resident conditions.
• Conduct rounds and monitor residents’ physical, emotional, and clinical status.
• Communicate important resident and staffing information to the Director of Nursing and incoming shift.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
