The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a Part-Time PM Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the nursing team, supervise care, and ensure high-quality, resident-centered nursing on the PM shift in Placerville, CA.

Ideal candidate is an experienced RN with strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills, able to coordinate staff, monitor residents, and support admissions and family communication while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current California RN license (active and unrestricted).
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations in skilled nursing/long-term care.
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Ability to meet applicable physical and job-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team and coordinate resident care on PM shift.
• Ensure appropriate staffing for RNs/LVNs and CNAs.
• Provide guidance and direction to nursing staff.
• Make sound clinical decisions and respond to changing resident conditions.
• Conduct rounds and monitor residents' status.
• Communicate with Director of Nursing and incoming shift.
• Ensure smooth transition to the NOC shift.
• Provide resident-centered care and monitor changes in condition.
