Job summary

Cloverdale Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the refrigerated warehouse operations, ensuring high quality, safe, and efficient processes. The role requires leadership, GMP awareness, forklift operation, and strong coordination with production and logistics teams.

You'll manage daily tasks, schedule staff, monitor inventory, and drive continuous improvement while complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Experience in GMP and safety standards.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• PM shift with extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including picking, putaway, rotation, wrapping, space management, and shipping, assigning workloads and daily tasks.
• Schedule and oversee the warehouse team to meet fulfillment center demands and manage workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Ensure coverage of tasks as necessary, stepping in to support or reassign duties to maintain workflow.
• Regularly report progress to the Warehouse Manager and address issues to ensure improvement.
• Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy and train inventory controller if needed.
• Keep inventory and storage areas clean and maintained; inspect equipment regularly and oversee maintenance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time dispatch of products in correct quantities.
• Implement health and safety procedures and training to ensure a safe workplace.
