Job summary

The Orchards in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Full Time PM Shift. The role supports residents with routine daily activities and nursing care in accordance with each resident’s care plan and supervisor direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding.
• Take and record vital signs(blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations).
• Help with mobility and safe transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other devices.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Observe and promptly report any changes in a resident’s physical or emotional condition.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members as needed.
• Accurately document care and observations according to facility policy and regulations.
