Job summary

ABridge Care Concepts, LLC invites applications for a Caregiver/Med Tech to support residents in our premier assisted living community. You will provide personal cares, monitor health, and assist with daily living activities in a dementia-friendly setting.

This role emphasizes teamwork, timely communication, and adherence to care plans, with opportunities to contribute to residents' independence through compassionate, hands-on support 24 hours a day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Satisfactory criminal background and reference check.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Display mature behavior in speech and action.
• Negative communicable disease screen (including TB).
• Ability to maintain acceptable work attendance record /follow work schedule.
• Ability to organize and utilize time effectively.
• Negative drug screen (if performed).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal cares including ADL assistance and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Answer call lights promptly and follow care plans.
• Assist with meals, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Document observations and participation accurately.
• Assist with housekeeping and activities for residents.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain professional appearance and punctual attendance.

Job description

Role: Caregiver/Med Tech

Responsibilities:

• Personal cares to include assistance in ADL's, mobility, positioning, bathing, toileting and dinning assistance. Also provides assistance with preparing meals, laundry and maintaining a clean, safe physical environment
• Observing and reporting of any changes of condition to management
• Answer call lights timely and properly
• Adheres to the written resident care plan
• Perform delegated tasks as instructed by the RN, Residence Director and RCC.
• Assists with housekeeping duties throughout the facility (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, cleaning, etc) as directed
• Assist with activities for residents as directed
• Documents observations and activity participation in an accurate, complete and timely manner.
• Maintains professional appearance and attitude
• Maintains excellent work attendance; is punctual for work shift.
• Be a team player
• Performs any other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
• Attends all mandatory staff meetings and in service trainings

Requirements
