Job summary

Bridgeway Park Senior Living Community is seeking compassionate caregivers to support residents, including those with dementia. You will provide hands-on daily living assistance, support mobility, and help with meals and activities, while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include medication administration under supervision, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the care team to monitor changes in residents’ conditions and respond promptly to calls and needs.

Qualifications

• Pass criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Commitment to working every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Administer medications and injections per medical charts under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of resident rooms and common areas; assist with light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication is a primary responsibility along with hands-on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule, and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Follow procedures regarding documenting medications.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Complete all required documents and charting.
• Answer call lights and assess residents\' needs.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
