Job summary

Le Meridien Washington D.C., The Madison Hotel is seeking a PM Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This full-time role maintains cleanliness of guest rooms, restocks amenities, and delivers courteous, prompt service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

PM shifts include weekends and holidays. You must be able to communicate in English, work as part of a team, and perform cleaning tasks in confined spaces.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Team player with self-starting attitude.
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Clean guest rooms including baths, toilets, and floors.
  • Strip and make beds with linens up to 50 lbs.
  • Replenish amenities and restock rooms.
  • Sign for room keys and report room status.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and assist with other duties as needed.

NoOverviewLe Meridien Washington D.C., The Madison Hotel is looking for a FT - PM Room Attendant to join our amazing Housekeeping Team!**PM shifts including weekends and holidays**This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the guest rooms while providing prompt, courteous service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
