Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time registered nurse for the Med/Surg 2 unit in Sheboygan. The role covers 24 hours per week, every third weekend and alternating holidays, with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

You will engage in care using the nursing process, maintain patient safety, document in EHR, and collaborate with the care team. Requires RN license, 1 year clinical nursing experience, BLS, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in WI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols.
