Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a registered nurse for the NICU to join a dynamic team. This full-time role (0.75 FTE) involves 30 hours per week with weekend and holiday rotation, and potential to adjust to 0.6 FTE.

You will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced unit and participate in safety and quality initiatives. The position requires a BSN, an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience.

Formación

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans, collaborating with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety.
• Evaluates outcomes and acts to improve patient and unit results.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and delegation.
• Pursues professional development and maintains certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Ethics code and delivers ethical patient care.
• Delegates appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Provides age-appropriate care per department policies.
