Job summary

Vista Prairie North Pointe, Assisted Living, is hiring a Resident Assistant to support residents with daily care and companionship in a welcoming community in Mankato, Minnesota.

As a full-time RA, you will assist with personal care, mobility, and medications under supervision, fostering a warm, respectful environment. We offer competitive pay, shift differentials, and a sign-on bonus to new hires.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year experience or more as an RA in a long-term care setting (Nursing or Assisted Living) preferred
• High school diploma or GED is preferred
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Training in health-related disciplines and/or experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions required

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs (e.g., bathing, grooming, hygiene)
• Support residents with mobility and transfers
• Administer medications as directed and in accordance with regulations
• Foster emotional well-being by creating positive, meaningful interactions
• Strive to bring joy and smiles to residents through daily care and support
