Shinola Hotel, part of Sage Hospitality Group, seeks a Reservation Agent for PM shift in Detroit. You will handle phone inquiries, provide hotel information, and sell rooms to meet revenue goals while delivering courteous, professional service.

The role requires strong English communication, computer proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Shift coverage includes 7am–11pm on rotating AM/MID/PM schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English with strong communication.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be able to operate a computer and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone inquiries and reservation requests to sell rooms.
• Gather needed information to confirm reservations.
• Negotiate rates and upsell rooms to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Promote hotel services to capture customers and revenue.
• Operate reservations system to provide accurate information.
