Job summary

The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking a dynamic physician leader to serve as Residency Program Director for the PM&R residency program within Temple Health.

Lead curriculum development, ensure accreditation readiness, mentor residents, and collaborate with faculty on research and scholarly activity in a thriving academic health system in Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with PM&R board certification.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• Minimum 3 years in an academic PM&R role.
• Graduate Medical Education leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with ACGME requirements and standards.
• Lead program evaluation, continuous improvement, and accreditation readiness.
• Oversee resident recruitment, selection and onboarding.
• Develop and enhance didactic curriculum, rotations and educational innovation.
• Promote resident scholarly activity, including research and quality improvement.
• Maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
