The role provides leadership, strategic direction, and advocacy to foster a student-centered environment supporting academic success, professional development, and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Master Degree relevant to physician assistant practice required.
  • NCCPA certification required.
  • Ability to obtain a Physician Assistant license for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary faculty resource for student support and guidance related to academic, personal, and professional concerns.
  • Coordinate strategies for students experiencing academic or personal issues.
  • Participate in student evaluations, remediations, and academic review to identify at-risk students.
  • Engage in student recruitment, interviews, outreach, and matriculation activities.
  • Represent Temple University’s PA Program at open houses, orientations, and community events.
  • Facilitate educational programs focused on professionalism, wellness, leadership, and career preparation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards to support students.
  • Oversee compliance with accreditation standards for student services and outcomes.
  • Design and monitor student satisfaction metrics to support program development and quality improvement.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the field of student affairs and student services.
  • Provide instruction to students during the didactic and clinical program year.
