Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as an Instructor. Working with the adult health team at the University of Colorado Hospital, you will provide clinical care, manage EPIC in-basket triage, and support teaching, research, and professional development.

The position is full-time and onsite in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

• NP or PA with appropriate licensure and board standards.
• Current BLS certification or equivalent within six months of hire.
• Eligibility to practice in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive care to patients in spine and rehabilitation medicine.
• Manages follow-ups with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coordinates referrals to PT/OT/nutrition/orthopedics/neurosurgery.
• Participates in teaching, research and professional development.
• Triage and manage EPIC in-basket messages for attending providers.
• Attend department meetings and provide back-up coverage as needed.
