This position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and teamwork in a busy kitchen. The role offers competitive weekly earnings and opportunities for growth within our pastry department.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen or bakery preferred.
• Bread and pastry preparation experience helpful.
• Ability to stand for eight hours or more per day.
• Able to read and follow recipes to standards.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a loud, team-based kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, following standard recipes and procedures within a specified time.
• Read prep list and prepare items as assigned.
• Measure and assemble ingredients required to follow recipes.
• Maintain and clean the work area, walk‑in refrigerator, prep, and storage areas.
• Rinse and cut raw food products.
• Move food in and out of ovens and cook over an open flame.
• Taste, smell, and inspect food to ensure quality.
