Lettuce Entertain You is hiring Pastry Cooks to join our team at North Bethesda. You will assist in the prep, production and presentation of pastries, desserts and baked goods, following recipes and requests.

We value caring, creativity and career growth; you will work in a busy kitchen, standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, with shifts including weekends. We offer benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Able to work a variety of hours and shifts, including weekends
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods

Responsabilités

• Follow prescribed portioning controls and par levels
• Maintain food safety and quality standards
• Read a thermometer and report issues promptly
• Communicate delays or issues to Coordinator
• Maintain menu item counts and quantities
• Account for all items leaving the station
• Follow allergy procedures and special orders
• Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
• Follow employment policies as outlined in the handbook
• Be a team player and work well with others
