Job summary

MFS is seeking a Co-op for the Project Operations and Analytics (PM Ops) group within Global Information Technology. You will help shape and execute operational and financial processes for the Technology organization, supporting project onboarding, resource planning, metrics, and financial monitoring.

Responsibilities include budgeting support, cost tracking, staffing assistance, and ad-hoc process improvements. This 6-month program runs Jan 13, 2027 to Jun 25, 2027, 35–40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets and reporting.
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Excel is required.
• Experience with PowerPoint and Visio is a plus.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Corporate Finance to support budgeting and reporting for Business Technology initiatives.
• Track and analyze project costs, identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Assist Project Managers, Product Owners, and GIT team with staffing, financials, and metrics reporting.
• Work on ad-hoc projects that support monthly and budget reporting and analysis.
• Deliver high-impact outputs that support strategic decision-making across GIT projects.
• Analyze current and future state workflows and document them.
• Create graphs and charts to support improvement efforts.
• Coordinate data gathering and updates across teams.
• Analyze year-over-year data trends to consolidate recommendations.
