Job summary

Ivy Living is seeking a Medication Technician for the PM shift in Hayward, CA. You will supervise and assist in administering medications to residents, provide direct personal care, and encourage participation in activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, maintaining records, and ensuring safety. Requires 1 year RCFE med assistance and 18+ years old; HS diploma or LVN a plus. Benefits provided by Oakmont Management Group.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medications in a care facility.
• Completion of state-required training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Must operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent customer service and communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to interact effectively with families and healthcare professionals.
• Criminal background check and health screening required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate med services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track med changes, refills, and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medication and care records.
• Ensure a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
