Job summary

Belmark is hiring a Machine Operator for a 3-day work week on the PM shift (3:00 PM–3:00 AM). This role operates multiple high-speed converting assets in a specialty finishing area and requires attention to safety and quality.

The position offers a 12-hour schedule with no swing shift and a $25.53 per hour wage including a $2 shift differential. Candidates must meet education and English proficiency requirements and be able to lift up to 100 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires education equivalent to two years of high school education, or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow both written and oral English communication.
• Regular attendance is required. May be required to work some overtime.
• Must be able to use a ruler, calculator and various hand tools.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
• Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less; identify and distinguish colors; see and identify moving images for color or registration.
• Ability to use hands and feet to operate machines for 100% of work time; stoop, kneel or crouch for 15% of work time, or walk for 10% of work time.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or less 20% of work time; 50 pounds or less 50% of work time; 75 pounds or less 20% of work time.
• May be required to lift up to 100 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and food safety requirements.
• Maintain superior attendance record.
• Perform tasks following safety guidelines at all times.
• Comply with Belmark operating procedures and work instructions.
• Case packing finished product.
• Ensure product quality attributes during the converting process.
• Prepare and label cases on pallet.
• Stage raw materials.
• Perform quality tests.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
